How to Unlock the Side Quest

Unlocking this Side Quest will require players to complete the previous pair of courses, inspiring Kabetta to create the Death Mountain Course. Before any of the Mine-Cart Land Side Quests can be started, players will first need to complete the main quest, “Yunobo of Goron City,” and thus resolve the Marbled Rock Roast crisis in Goron City. This will free up the brothers to actually run their attraction.

After completing the Quickshot Course, players will need tohead for the Summit of Death Mountainto meet up with Kabetta and try out the course. If Sitsum Shrine has been visited, players can simply teleport to it and then use Ascend to rise up to the platform where Kabetta is waiting.

Kabetta will explain that the goal is to hit 8 Targets while riding his cart to the bottom of Death Mountain. He also says that failing to reach the bottom before the time runs out will result in a loss, but in practice, players would need to forcibly stop the cart themselves in order for this to be a problem.

As with the Quickshot Course before it, players struggling to hit the targets should wait until the cart is close to them to minimize arrow drop-off and improve the odds of hitting the target. Players might also consider using theGerudo Bowfor its precision zoom if they are still having difficulty with this challenge. Fortunately, this course has a ton of extra targets to hit, so it can be won even if players miss a few shots.

Once the challenge is completed, Kabetta willreward players with the Goron Fabric, which can be used to get a new paraglider pattern from the Dye Shop in Hateno Village. Players can repeat the challenge for 20 Rupees or pay 50 Rupees to get a pack of 10 arrows too.
